Balancing Boulders Farm is a small family farm, located just north of Cortez. We grow a variety of veggies such as greens, bok choy, radishes, carrots, onions, summer squash, potatoes, garlic, tomatoes, peppers, and more. What started as a desire for fresh, vibrant veggies is now a mission to feed our friends, family and neighbors the best quality produce Southwest Colorado has to offer. We believe a delicious meal, prepared by hand and shared, is one of the best things in life.

Our farming practices are best described as a collaboration with Mother Nature. We keep man-made inputs & chemicals out of the process and encourage biodiversity. We promote healthy soils by minimizing tillage, rotating crops, and mulching exposed soil to protect it from our high altitude sunbeams.
